Anthony's first hero was his 28 year old Mother. When he was age six, his Mom & infant brother died during an early morning home fire as she tried to rescue her children. His heroes include Brockton Firefighters who rescued family members. Thanks to Aunt Doris & Uncle John who helped raise Anthony for a couple years.
    His Dad & top hero Don O'Brien worked at the Howard Johnson plant in Brockton & remarried Lorraine Sabina, Anthony's 2nd Mom, a widow also with 3 children & sister of Maryanne, wife of Golf Pro Gerry Mackedon. While raising 7 children, Don was the Deacon at St. Edward Church & Lorraine worked at Cardinal Cushing Hospital. They were also involved at the Polish Church, St. Mary's, Our Lady of Ostrabrama. Anthony attended Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton and Stonehill College in Easton. We lost Lorraine & Maryanne to cancer (please join us in supporting cancer research see 'Projects' page).
    Don remarried Andrea, Anthony's 3rd Mom, a widow also with 7 children. They have 14 children & 28 grandchildren. Moms are special in our family & every family. Anthony & Staci were blessed with their first child Anthony Jr. in August.  
    His family especially thanks military colleagues who 
ensured his safety while in harm's way. 
    From a family involved in community service for decades, his volunteer leadership positions include:

     Other volunteer experience incl. American Red Cross blood donor, VA Hospital visits, Toys for Tots, food pantries & church programs, clothing drives, Boy Scouts instructor, youth Coach, scholarship programs, and supporter of the Historical Society, Library Foundation, Friends of the Council on Aging, & promoter for dozens of charities, events & causes for many years.
